"A TRIBUTE
TO
NEW YORK's
WORLD TRADE CENTER"
I'm a New Yorker. I was born in Brooklyn, and until I graduated from college, I lived within a few miles of the magnificent New York skyline. Although I now make my home in Colorado, the events of 9/11/01 felt somewhat personal.
In 1997, my wife Susan and I lived just north of the City in Westchester County. During that year, we created our 3D video travel documentary, A Virtual visit to New York City.
Because the World Trade Center was such a beautiful place, I have chosen to offer this gallery, showing it in "more innocent times".
These are actual image pairs from the "Ray3D" video, "A Virtual Visit to New York City". They were acquired with my homemade stereo video cameras.
To view these pictures, you may:
1. Click the image or select the "JPG" option to see side by side pairs. These can be "free-viewed", (either "cross-eyed" or "parallel").
2. "Interlaced" for use with LCS shutter-glasses.
3. "JPS", which can be viewed in multiple formats,
(including: "red/blue", interlaced, freeview, etc.),
using free Depthcharge 2.5 software from VRex. For further viewing instructions, see: How to view Ray3D images

The gentleman is Alexander Smirnoff,

With his kind assistance, I was able to shoot
